8 places that do health care better than the US
I think is necessary that the goverment intervene in the health care of US because the pharmaceutical industry is very strong here and in reality they don´t look for you health and yes for earn money.
In Spain we have a universal health care that give you the secure that all that they do is the necessary and they no pretend to sell you things that reallity you don´t need. The cancer treatments are free.
Of course we have to spend a percentage of our salary /month for the mantenance or health care but anyway is cheaper than in USA (maybe supposed 5% salary but all your family is in there).
The bad notice is that the health care in Spain have a long wait to see specialist and undergo certain procedures but is free and if is a emergency normally you don´t have to wait a lot.
By other way, the goverment subsideze most of the medication.
The past month I ask in Perimeter Clinic for necesary vaccines to go to Africa. They told me I need 3 vaccines and each is 200-300 $ and the insurance no cover this vaccines because is for a pleasure trip!!!
In Spain my friend put this vaccines past month for about 16 euros all... surprised?
I will modify my trip and I will go to China and when I will go to Spain I will put my vaccines for Africa.
I was surprised that neither England nor Canada were mentioned in the article. I knew nothing about America's horrible health care system until I watched Michael Moore's "sicko". it is shocking that one of the most powerful and influential countries in the world has a poor health care system. Over 50 million Americans are without health insurance.
ResponderEliminarOn the other hand, in France the National Family Allowance Fund pays for Family clinics and licensed babysitters at home for new parents. Therefore, the productivity rates are higher in France than in America!!!
ALSO, according to the movie the older Brits had less of almost every major disease even the poorest Brit can expect to live longer than the richest American.
